I’m Shane, the owner of Finishing Edge Constructions, and my journey in the building industry began with a simple dream: to create beautiful, functional spaces that enhance the lives of my clients. For the past 16 years, I’ve immersed myself in every aspect residential construction, and for the last decade, I’ve been managing projects ranging from custom homes to multi-unit developments. My passion for building has only grown stronger, fuelled by the incredible experiences I’ve had working alongside skilled tradespeople and learning the ins and outs of the industry.

I’ve always believed that the foundation of any successful project is built on strong relationships. That’s why I prioritise communication, accountability, teamwork, and honesty in everything we do at Finishing Edge Constructions. Our meticulous 287-point quality control checklist ensures that every detail is attended to, even those hidden from sight, making sure your home is not only great quality visually but also comfortable.

Living in the Mornington Peninsula, I’ve had the privilege of working with many wonderful clients to renovate or improve their houses or holiday homes. I understand the importance of creating spaces that reflect their unique lifestyles and needs. My commitment to quality craftsmanship and thorough quality checks at every stage of the build process sets us apart from other builders in the area.

Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my beautiful wife and our two sons, Tex and Tate. Whether it’s fishing or traveling together, family is at the heart of everything I do.
